Reliable load switching with solid state contactors

Test equipment within the semiconductor industry  needs to provide high test speeds and precision. Switching of any resistive or motor loads must have minimal response time. Due to the high switching cycles, solid state contactors are the ideal solution as they can respond much faster than electromechanical relays and, since they have no moving contacts, their lifetime is measure in million of electrical cycles.  RGC1A 1-pole solid state contactor is suitable for both resistive (AC51) and inductive load (AC53) switching. With its slim housing design, it requires minimal space in the electrical panel. RLC1A is another solid state contactor that is suitable only for resistive loads. Both products have integrated protection against transients and over-voltages.

Switching of DC loads with RM1D and RP1D

Within test equipment of semiconductor chips and wafers, it is common to have both AC and DC loads. For DC operated loads, RM1D and RP1D are an ideal fit. RP1D can be mounted directly to a PCB or to a DIN-rail with the applicable accessory. The RPM1P is a DIN adaptor module that does not require any soldering when mounting the RP1D SSR on it. The RP1D can just pressed to the base of the adaptor enabling easy installation and faster replacement of the SSR.
The RM1D is a panel-mount DC solid state relay that can switch DC loads up to 500 VDC. 

Compact 1-phase and 3-phase power supplies

Switch  mode power supplies are a crucial part in powering up most of the critical components within the electrical panel of any semiconductor equipment.

Switch mode power supplies can work on a wide range of input voltage maintaining a very stable output DC voltage to make sure that all the critical components such as PLCs and HMIs are safely powered up.
